A Day in the Life of an Engineer — meetings and a new project.
林工程师九点到公司。Engineer Lin arrives at the company at nine o'clock.他先打开电脑，查看今天的邮件。He first turns on his computer and checks his emails.
同事小陈走过来说：“早啊，今天有会议！”His colleague Xiao Chen walks over and says, "Morning! There's a meeting today!"他们一起去会议室，听经理讲新的项目计划。They go to the meeting room together and listen to the manager explain the new project plan.会议一个小时后结束。The meeting ends after an hour.
林工程师开始写程序，要测试一个新的系统。Engineer Lin starts coding to test a new system.他很认真，不想出错。He works carefully and doesn't want to make mistakes.中午十二点，他和同事一起去楼下吃午饭。At noon, he goes downstairs to eat lunch with his colleagues.
