A Day in the Life of a Farmer — Uncle Liu is up before the sun.
刘大叔是一位农夫。Uncle Liu is a farmer.他住在村子里，家后面就是一大片田。He lives in a village, and behind his house is a big field.
早上五点多，他就起床了。He gets up a little after five in the morning.天还没亮，空气很凉，很安静。The sky is still dark, and the air is cool and quiet.
他先洗脸、喝水，然后准备去田里。He washes his face, drinks some water, and gets ready to go to the fields.太太给他做早餐，有稀饭、咸菜和鸡蛋。His wife makes breakfast — porridge, pickles, and eggs.吃完饭，他拿起锄头和帽子。After eating, he takes his hoe and his hat.太阳刚出来，他就开始一天的工作。As the sun rises, he begins his day's work.
