我wǒ会huì画画huà huà,可是kě shì我wǒ不会bù huì游泳yóu yǒng。I can draw, but I can't swim.

星期六xīng qī liù,哥哥gē ge带dài我去wǒ qù游泳yóu yǒng。On Saturday, my big brother took me swimming.

水shuǐ很hěn深shēn,我wǒ有点儿yǒu diǎn er怕pà。The water was deep, and I was a little scared.

哥哥gē ge说shuō:“别bié怕pà,我wǒ会huì帮bāng你nǐ。”My brother said, "Don't be afraid — I'll help you."

我wǒ先xiān学xué在zài水里shuǐ lǐ走zǒu,再zài学xué在zài水里shuǐ lǐ玩wán。First I learned to walk in the water, then to play in it.

哥哥gē ge说shuō:“看kàn我wǒ,手shǒu要yào这样zhè yàng动dòng。”My brother said, "Watch me — move your arms like this."

我wǒ学xué了le一个yī ge下午xià wǔ。I practiced all afternoon.

现在xiàn zài我wǒ会huì游yóu一点儿yī diǎnr了le!Now I can swim a little!

哥哥gē ge说shuō:“下个星期xià gè xīng qī你nǐ就jiù会huì游yóu得de更好gèng hǎo。”My brother said, "Next week you'll swim even better."

我wǒ说shuō:“太好了tài hǎo le!我wǒ也yě会huì游泳yóu yǒng了le!”I said, "Great! Now I can swim too!"
