The Old Oil Seller
A proud archer meets an old man who pours oil through a tiny hole.

Long ago, there was a man who was very good at shooting arrows. Out of ten shots, he could hit nine.
An old man who sold oil watched and only smiled.那个人生气地问:“你会射箭吗?”The man asked angrily, "Can you shoot arrows?"
The old man said, "I can't, but I can pour oil."
He put a small coin on the mouth of a bottle. The coin had a small hole in the middle. The oil flowed through the little hole into the bottle. Not a drop of oil got on the coin.
The old man said, "I pour oil every day, so my hands know the way."
This idiom is "practice makes perfect." It means: when you do something many times, you get very good at it. Example: Write characters often — practice makes perfect, and you will write better and better.
