The Saturday Surprise (Part 1)
A frantic morning of must-dos — until Dad points at the calendar.
今天早上我很忙。This morning I was very busy.
我得七点起床。I have to get up at seven.
我得吃早饭，还得刷牙。I have to eat breakfast, and I also have to brush my teeth.
妈妈说：“你得快一点！”Mom said, "You have to hurry up!"
我说：“我还得找我的书！”I said, "I still have to find my book!"
爸爸笑了。Dad laughed.
爸爸说：“今天是星期六。”Dad said, "Today is Saturday."
“你不用去学校！”"You don't need to go to school!"
妈妈也笑了：“你不用快，也不用带书。”Mom laughed too: "You don't need to hurry, and you don't need to bring your book."
太好了！我又去睡觉了。Great! I went back to sleep.
