At the Pharmacy (Part 1)
Survival Chinese — describing symptoms and understanding the dosage.

李明有点感冒,头疼,还咳嗽。Li Ming had a bit of a cold — a headache and a cough.他走进一家药店。He walked into a pharmacy.
“你好,我感冒了,有什么药?”"Hello, I've caught a cold — what medicine do you have?"
店员问:“发烧吗?”The clerk asked, "Any fever?"
“不发烧,就是头疼、咳嗽。”"No fever — just the headache and cough."
店员拿了两盒药:“这个一天三次,一次两片。”The clerk took out two boxes: "This one, three times a day, two tablets each time."
“饭前吃还是饭后吃?”"Before meals or after?"
“饭后吃。多喝水,多休息。”"After meals. Drink plenty of water and get some rest."
李明付了钱,说:“谢谢!”Li Ming paid and said, "Thanks!"两天后,他觉得好多了。Two days later, he felt much better.
