Nephi and the Brass Plates
Nephi's brothers say the task is impossible, but he returns to Jerusalem trusting that God will make a way.
很久以前，先知李海住在耶路撒冷。A long time ago, the prophet Lehi lived in Jerusalem.城里的人不听神的话。The people in the city did not listen to God's words.
神告诉李海：“你要带家人离开这里。”God told Lehi, "You must take your family and leave this place."
李海就带着家人离开了城市。So Lehi took his family and left the city.
后来，神对李海说：“你的儿子们要回去拿铜页片。”Later, God said to Lehi, "Your sons must go back to get the brass plates."
铜页片上写着神的话。God's words were written on the brass plates.尼腓是李海的儿子。Nephi was Lehi's son.
哥哥们说：“太难了！我们做不到。”His older brothers said, "It is too hard! We cannot do it."
尼腓说：“神要我做的事，我一定去做。”Nephi said, "What God asks me to do, I will go and do."“我知道神会帮助我们。”"I know God will help us."
他们回到耶路撒冷，可是拿不到铜页片。They went back to Jerusalem, but they could not get the brass plates.有一个坏人，还想杀他们。There was a wicked man who even wanted to kill them.哥哥们很害怕，想回家。The older brothers were afraid and wanted to go home.
尼腓说：“我们不能回去。我相信神。”Nephi said, "We cannot go back. I believe in God."
晚上，尼腓一个人进了城。At night, Nephi went into the city alone.神帮助了他，他拿到了铜页片。God helped him, and he got the brass plates.一家人非常高兴，感谢神。The whole family was very happy and thanked God.
尼腓知道，相信神的人，神一定会帮助他。Nephi knew that God will surely help those who believe in Him.
