很久以前hěn jiǔ yǐ qián,有yǒu一个yī ge将军jiāng jūn。Long ago, there was a general.他tā带着dài zhe士兵shì bīng过了guò le一条yī tiáo大河dà hé。He led his soldiers across a big river.河hé对面duì miàn有yǒu很多hěn duō敌人dí rén。On the other side of the river there were many enemies.士兵shì bīng们men很hěn害怕hài pà,想xiǎng回家huí jiā。The soldiers were scared and wanted to go home.

将军jiāng jūn说shuō:“打破dǎ pò锅guō!把bǎ船chuán推tuī到dào水里shuǐ lǐ!”The general said, "Break the pots! Push the boats into the water!"

士兵shì bīng们men问wèn:“没有méi yǒu船chuán,我们wǒ men怎么zěn me回家huí jiā?”The soldiers asked, "Without boats, how do we go home?"

将军jiāng jūn说shuō:“我们wǒ men不bù回家huí jiā,只能zhǐ néng向前xiàng qián!”The general said, "We are not going home. We can only go forward!"

士兵shì bīng们men没有méi yǒu路lù了le,就jiù努力nǔ lì去qù打dǎ。The soldiers had no way out, so they fought hard.最后zuì hòu,他们tā men打赢dǎ yíng了le。In the end, they won.

这个zhè ge成语chéng yǔ是shì“破釜沉舟pò fǔ chén zhōu”。This idiom is "break the pots and sink the boats."意思yì si是shì:不留bù liú回去huí qu的de路lù,一定要yī dìng yào成功chéng gōng。It means: leave no way back — you must succeed.小明xiǎo míng把bǎ游戏机yóu xì jī送人sòng rén了le,破釜沉舟pò fǔ chén zhōu,天天tiān tiān学习xué xí。Xiao Ming gave away his game console — he broke the pots and sank the boats, and studies every day.
