The Launch — Xiao Guo is put in charge of a new app, and this time he knows exactly what he learned the hard way.

星期一xīng qī yī早上zǎo shang，小郭xiǎo guō坐zuò地铁dì tiě去qù公司gōng sī。On Monday morning, Xiao Guo takes the subway to the office.

今天jīn tiān有yǒu一个yī ge重要zhòng yào的de会议huì yì。There's an important meeting today.

经理jīng lǐ说shuō：“我们wǒ men要yào做zuò一个yī ge新的xīn deApp，下个月xià gè yuè上线shàng xiàn。”The manager says: "We're building a new app, launching next month."

经理jīng lǐ看着kàn zhe小郭xiǎo guō：“小郭xiǎo guō，这个zhè ge项目xiàng mù你nǐ来lái负责fù zé。”The manager looks at Xiao Guo: "Xiao Guo, you're in charge of this project."

小郭xiǎo guō很hěn惊讶jīng yà，也yě有点yǒu diǎn紧张jǐn zhāng。Xiao Guo is surprised, and a little nervous.

小郭xiǎo guō打开dǎ kāi电脑diàn nǎo，写下xiě xià计划jì huà的de第一步dì yī bù：找zhǎo对duì的de人rén。Xiao Guo opens his computer and writes down step one of the plan: find the right people.

他tā想xiǎng：“工程师gōng chéng shī、数据shù jù科学家kē xué jiā、营销yíng xiāo员yuán……我们wǒ men需要xū yào一个yī ge团队tuán duì。”He thinks: "An engineer, a data scientist, a marketer… we need a team."
