The Morning Shift (Part 2)
A Day in the Life of a Nurse — busy rounds in the wards.
八点，王护士到医院，马上开始忙。At eight, Nurse Wang arrives at the hospital and gets busy right away.她先去病房，看病人有没有需要帮忙的地方。She first goes to the wards to see if any patients need help.
有一位老先生想喝水，她轻轻地帮他拿杯子。An old man wants to drink water; she gently helps him hold the cup.另一位病人要量体温，她拿出温度计。Another patient needs their temperature taken; she takes out the thermometer.医生叫她去拿药，她跑去药房。The doctor asks her to get medicine, and she runs to the pharmacy.
虽然有点累，但她笑着说：“这是我的工作。”Although she's a bit tired, she smiles and says, "This is my job."十点多，她和同事一起喝水、休息五分钟。After ten o'clock, she drinks water and rests for five minutes with her coworkers.然后又回去病房，继续照顾病人。Then she goes back to the wards to continue caring for patients.
