A Day of Small Mysteries (Part 1)
A day full of small mysteries, and every answer arrives with a click of realization.

The moment I got to the office this morning, something felt strange.
There wasn't a single person in the office, and the lights were all off.
I checked my phone and realized it was Saturday — no wonder nobody came to work!
On the way home I bought a coffee, took a sip, and it didn't taste like usual.
The people at the shop said they'd switched to new milk today — no wonder it was a little sweet.
Almost home, I saw a pile of boxes outside my neighbors' door.
It turns out they're moving next week — no wonder they've been so busy lately.
When I got home, I found my door open and got a fright.
It was just Mom, there cleaning my room — no wonder the door wasn't shut.
Mom asked with a smile, "Didn't you say you had work today?"
I said I'd mixed up the days, and Mom said, "No wonder you look so tired — you can't even remember what day it is!"
I laughed too, and decided to take the day to really rest.
