A New Beginning (Part 1)
The Beginner Farmer — Xiao Nong's first morning on his own little farm.
早上六点，小农来到自己的小农场。At six in the morning, Xiao Nong arrived at his little farm.他看看土，问自己：“土有多干？”He looked at the soil and asked himself, "How dry is it?"
太阳慢慢升起，空气很清新。The sun slowly rose, and the air was fresh.他说：“天气多好啊！今天可以好好工作。”He said, "What a nice day! I can get some real work done today."
小农开始浇水，让土地变得湿湿的。Xiao Nong began watering, soaking the soil through.他看着农场里的小树苗，心里想：“第一次种地，我多紧张啊！”He looked at the little saplings and thought, "My first time farming — how nervous I am!"不久，小鸟飞来停在树上。Before long, birds flew over and settled in the tree.小农觉得，这样的早晨真美。Xiao Nong felt that a morning like this was truly beautiful.
