A Small Farm Problem (Part 2)
The Beginner Farmer — a hungry chicken threatens the seeds.
下午，小农去看他昨天种下的种子。In the afternoon, Xiao Nong went to check the seeds he had planted yesterday.他蹲下来看，说：“小芽有多小？怎么还看不见？”He squatted down and said, "How tiny must the sprouts be? I can't see them yet!"
忽然，一只小鸡跑过来啄地。Suddenly, a little chicken ran over and pecked at the ground.小农吓一跳，说：“你多馋啊！想吃我的种子吗？”Xiao Nong jumped and said, "How greedy you are! Do you want to eat my seeds?"小鸡被吓到，跑开了。The chicken got scared and ran off.
小农扒开一点土，小声问：“种子还在吗？”Xiao Nong brushed aside a little soil and asked quietly, "Are the seeds still there?"
看到种子安全，他松了口气，说：“我多幸运啊！”Seeing the seeds were safe, he sighed in relief and said, "How lucky I am!"
