Checking into a Hotel (Part 1)
Survival Chinese — reservations, room cards, and checkout times.

晚上八点,王小姐到了酒店。At eight in the evening, Ms. Wang arrived at the hotel.她对前台说:“你好,我订了房间。”She said to the front desk, "Hello, I have a reservation."
“好的,请给我看一下您的护照。”"Of course — may I see your passport?"王小姐把护照递给她。Ms. Wang handed over her passport.
“您的房间是八楼的806,这是房卡。”"Your room is 806 on the eighth floor — here's your room card."
“早餐在二楼,七点开始。”"Breakfast is on the second floor, starting at seven."
王小姐问:“几点退房?”Ms. Wang asked, "What time is checkout?"
“中午十二点以前。”"Before twelve noon."
“好的,谢谢!”"Got it, thank you!"她拿着行李,坐电梯上了八楼。She took her luggage and rode the elevator up to the eighth floor.
