The Phone in the Taxi (Part 2)
Survival Chinese — a phone left behind on the back seat.
李明上了火车，找到自己的座位。Li Ming boarded the train and found his seat.他想给妈妈打个电话，可是手机不见了！He wanted to give his mom a call, but his phone was gone!包里没有，口袋里也没有。Not in his bag, not in his pockets.
他想起来了，是那辆出租车！Then he remembered — that taxi!手机一定是掉在车里了。The phone must have fallen out in the car.李明很着急，可是火车已经开了。Li Ming was very anxious, but the train had already left.
旁边的人说：“别急，用我的手机打你的号码。”The person next to him said, "Don't panic — use my phone to call your number."电话通了，有人接了！The call went through — someone picked up!
一个声音说：“你好，我是出租车司机。”A voice said, "Hello, I'm the taxi driver."
“你的手机在我车上，放心吧！”"Your phone is in my car — don't worry!"
